SERVICES – POST-GROUTED DRILLED SHAFTS

Case Atlantic has saved its clients thousands of dollars through the application of post-grouted drilled shafts in soils where excessive displacement would otherwise be required to mobilize the inherent end-bearing capacity. Post-grouting “pre-loads the spring” at the shaft tip allowing development of the tip capacity as well as side friction. Each post-grouted shaft is effectively load-tested during the grouting process, enabling further cost-savings through reduction of the design safety factor.
